The Student Media Poll will release weekly polls for men’s and women’s college basketball, beginning in the 2021 preseason.
Following the success of the College Football Student Media Poll, the basketball polls will have many of the same voters from the football poll who cover men’s and women’s basketball.
The Student Media Poll will be expanding the voting roster, including an emphasis on representing mid-major and non-football schools.
More news on the basketball polls, including the release of the preseason polls, will be announced in the coming weeks.
