Week 5: 5 teams drop out of SMP after volatile week of college football

Five teams dropped out of this weeks Student Media Poll top 25 poll after losses by nine of last week’s top 25 teams.

Seven teams in the top 25 now come from the SEC, and Cincinnati broke into the top three after a win over Notre Dame. Kentucky joined the poll after an upset of Florida, the first victory over the Gators in Lexington since 1986.
