Patrick Felts is junior at Indiana University, pursuing a degree in journalism in the Ernie Pyle Scholars program and a certificate in the Liberal Arts Management Program. He is a native of Indianapolis and founded the Student Media Poll in January 2021, currently serving as Director. He oversees all SMP operations, in addition to voting in the weekly polls.
Patrick has hosted The First and 1G Podcast since 2019 alongside SMP Director of Visual Content Reid Murray. He also covers IU football for The Daily Hoosier, previously covering the team for the Indiana Daily Student. Patrick has interned at global soccer website 90Min and for his hometown soccer team, Indy Eleven.
Fun facts: Patrick is a die-hard fan of the Colts, Pacers and Celtic FC. He enjoys cooking, playing Super Smash Bros., watching IndyCar and biking in his free time. He believes that Indianapolis is the greatest city in the world.
